Meet Andrea Jones

1st Grade

Some people become part of a school. Others help build it.

Andrea Jones has been with us from the beginning, back when Liberty Oaks was still Learn Upstate. Through growth, change, and plenty of seasons in between, Andrea has remained a steady presence, a trusted voice, and someone whose opinion we genuinely value.

A Clemson graduate with degrees in history and education, Andrea taught throughout Anderson District One and gained early childhood experience at Trinity Methodist Preschool before joining us. At Liberty Oaks, she has taught kindergarten through second grade and now serves as our Assistant Principal for Lower Elementary.

Andrea brings experience to the classroom, but what we appreciate just as much is the way she supports the people around her. She is dependable, loyal, willing to speak honestly, and always ready to help when something needs to be done.

Andrea has been part of Liberty Oaks from the very beginning, and we’re grateful for the steady presence, experience, and support she brings to our school every day.

Liberty Oaks Academy is a micro school in Anderson, South Carolina, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Our intentionally small classes are a tool that gives great teachers the time and flexibility to teach students as individuals.
